There was a question about retency, today i had time and made two videos.

Coarseness was set to espresso with really light beans ( you can also see the grinding time for it ).

Retention test 1:
In: 20.1
Out: 20
Retention 0.1

Retention test 2:
In: 20.1
Out: 19.9
Retention 0.2

With a portafilter its even easier to obtain almost 0g retention... i have a "standard" of max 0.1g
The video was made without RDT, by using it reduces the retention even "more"

I did sent a PM about a question and request.

I own the grinder for about 3 years already. if there are people interested in testing it or compare it with something else i'm happy to help.
i just moved to Amsterdam/diemen

The grinder has been send back to the factory for a consistent upgrade.
I will share pictures and feedback after I get it back

What did they do to improve?

The main 2 upgrades were:
- the engine - it is a slower one now, and once you stop it rotates in the opposite direction a few times to make sure there is no retention.
- in the last picture you can see the fine grind adjustment mechanism (the red wheel which is turning the red cone)

As bonus I changed both set of burrs, the main axis, the on/off back switch.

Does the slower motor decrease noise as well?
I have seen the Hedonne last year when I visited Bob and did not like the noise and resonance...
