item(s) you intend to purchase. Many, if not all of the answers to questions which may
come to mind are contained there. However, feel free to ask all the questions you want
either via e-mail or phone. I have “standardized” on the thermometer kit I offer to
customers worldwide based on the Taylor 9840 thermometer (switchable F/C degrees).

Shipping outside the US
Shipping outside of the United States can be accomplished using one of two available
methods. These are USPS Priority Mail and USPS Express Mail. The quoted delivery
time for Priority Mail is 6-10 business days. The additional cost for Express Mail, using
a small box inside a 9.5” x 12.5” express mail envelope will be quoted upon request.
My favorite (as of late) shipping option is USPS Priority Mail which has a fee of $40
($31 for Canada) using the small flat rate box. This covers the time it takes to type the
customs form(s) and post office line time. Unfortunately, this service does not
provide tracking once the package leaves the United States for either you or me.

New Info edited into this document on March 8, 2016. Destination confirmation is
available for just about all countries by sending the parcel via registered mail. The cost
for this is $15.

As regards shipping fees to all postal areas, your cost is my cost plus an amount for the
extra time involved unless there are unusual circumstances (large order requiring a box)
for which you will be advised beforehand – see this:

How to Buy the Thermometer Adaptor Kit via PayPal

Please ensure that your PayPal physical address is where you want the package
delivered or advise me well beforehand. Shipping outside of the US requires a customs
form (naturally) and your complete address information and the make/model of the
machine which will be the recipient should be included in your initial email to me.
Warranty
For the first 30 days – full refund of monies exclusive of postage will be made upon
your request AND upon receipt of product(s).
The thermometer, attached probe, and any purchased accessories are guaranteed to
be fully functional for 1 year from the date of purchase. Replacements during this time
period will be made for the cost of postage, shipping supplies, and a small “handling”
fee - $10.00 AND upon receipt of old unit. Replacement units will ship with one set of
new ferrules and nut typically held in place by a small (disposable) orange doughnut.
You are obligated to return the old parts (nut and ferrules and thermometer) in the least
expensive manner.
If the thermometer was purchased directly from me, no receipt is required – I retain all
e-mails. If the thermometer was purchased from Chris’ Coffee, an order number or
some other validated document showing the purchase date is required.
Thermocouples are warranted for 90 days. I wish I could make this longer but no
warranty is offered to me (or anyone else) by Omega.
