Van hierI also believe that the Kyocera and Porlex grinders are excellent travel grinders, but for sophisticated machines like the Cremina as well as the Caravel/pepina open boiler, a more consistent grinder would be beneficial. Either a vintage wood manual grinder, or a lelit, Mazzer SJ, Vario, etc.
Just my 2 cents.
I haver a Porlex, so I'm not just blind posting on this.
.We looked long & hard to find a high quality new hand mill for every use, and the Kyocera compares favorably with the best of the fine grinding espresso hand mills that we've used!
